Nice shot... oh sorry to hear about your camera problem... Odd A Nikon as a Canon don't use to stop working like that so often... Have you tried a spare battery? You can also, before bringing your camera to repair having a little look at Nikon's website to download the trouble shooting that you can find in the user manual if yo don't have the complete printed version. Sometime people think there camera is broken but it's not. I know, I check out so many camera and most problem were battery or memory card... Be careful with repairs man... it happens that they are not all honest and even it's little thing, the fake a trouble that was not existed.

Thanks! Yeah my camera trouble sucks but before I sent it in I did check everything (battery, memory card, contactors etc.) but it turned out to be the aperture and the cost of repair is 200€ :-( I think that is pretty over the top for such a small problem but I'd rather have a professional do it, otherwise it might be broken again soon. But for now, I let them sent me the camera back because 200€ is way more than we can afford right now. But luckily it is the first time the camera had to be repaired eversince i got it in 2008 and I have seriously used it a LOT so I don't think Nikon is so bad :-)
Thanks for your advice!

OMG 200 Euros!!! that lots of money! Too bad you don't live in Canada because here we have customers protection laws within you could reclaim Nikon to repair your camera for free as it counts as "legal warranty" as any goods should last for a reasonable period of time. I think your camera is a SLR one (Single Lens Reflex) and a shuttle is suppose to last for at least over 100,000 shots.

I hope you will be able to go on to your cool photographic activities as you are very talented.

Friendly,

Marc :)

yes it is really a lot! Wow that is a great law, I wish we had it! I don't think I have quite taken 100,000 shots with the dslr yet, more like 40,000 or something... mm what a rip-off.
But I hope I'll come up with the money soon, I really miss my camera :-(

Thanks for your kind words!
